September 26, 2010: When we heard about a giant statue of the Our Lady of the Holy Rosary being erected in Tanay Rizal, I asked my cousins in Tanay where we can find the 71-foot-tall statue. It was located on top of a hill in Sitio Aguho, Barangay Sampaloc in Tanay, Rizal. It is across Camp Capinin and right after Erap's rest house.
Often called as the "Our Lady on top of the hill," devotees and tourists alike visit the sanctuary to hear the Sunday mass which is held at the Kakahuyan area.
An adopt a tree movement to help build the Rosi chapel was organized by the Dominican Sisters of the Regina Rosarii.
Truly a place of Prayer, Pilgrimate and Peace.
